Alessia Oppizzi holds a PhD in English from Università degli Studi di Milano. Her fields of interest are discourse analysis, gender studies and word-formation. She has published essays on the problematics of Karen Blixen's rewriting/translation of her own works into English and on Naomi Mitchison's creation of pseudo-scientific languages in Memoirs of a Spacewoman.
